I might understand that even switching aero on and off seamlessly might be hard, maybe even impossible. I can live with that. But please let me decide.
It's quite clear just by glancing at the forum that your customers opinion is "fix it or get rid of it and give us our money back". If you really wanted to improve it like you claim you would'nt have dropped support for it in your new drivers, we are not idiots. I was trying to get Arch Linux working and guess what, there is a problem. Although there is a way to work this through with installing Intel drivers for integrated gpu, and running 'demanding apps' through so called Bumblebee, I don't like this. I don't like this at all. It is not smooth.
Just please make it work in official linux drivers. Please allow us to disable it and use only the high-end GPU. I'd like to add I made this account out of frustration with Optimus just to post on this feedback thread in hopes that Nvidia comes to their senses and releases a driver that allows us to disable the integrated graphics.
