INTEL DZ77GA-70K DRIVER
Packaging The board ships in the usual black box with a skull on it letting you Intel DZ77GA-70K that this thing means business. Or I guess that's the impression you are supposed to get. Our board was not a retail sample, so it lacked the traditional driver disc, though I'm certain retail boards Intel DZ77GA-70K come with these.

Intel DZ77GA-70K This actually should have had a skull on it, but sadly does not. Our board was lacking in SATA cables or anything like that but keep in mind this was a very early sample delivered with our original K engineering sample.
As far as the layout goes Intel did a fairly good job with it. I've got a couple of complaints like the Intel DZ77GA-70K panel audio connector being at the BACK of the motherboard. In all fairness, Intel is not the only motherboard manufacturer that does this.
I'd have also liked to have seen the onboard power and reset buttons moved to the other side of the ATX pin connector or moved down to the bottom Intel DZ77GA-70K or bottom edge of the board. Not a huge deal mind you, but a preference. The CPU socket is clear of any major obstructions.
At least it's no worse than any other LGA board is. The DIMM slots are again too close but this is a fact of the electrical design standard. So I get to finally lay some blame here. These use traditional locking tabs which others are getting away from. The low-profile VRM heatsinks shouldn't interfere with larger aftermarket coolers. I count ten power phases nestled under the anodized chunks of finned aluminum. There's also an open-ended x4 slot with four lanes of PCIe 2. Three of the Z77's remaining PCIe lanes are dedicated to integrated Intel DZ77GA-70K I'm not crazy about sharing bandwidth between devices, but it's a reasonable trade-off to ensure that the x4 slot gets enough lanes for high-end SSDs, and the like.
The x4 slots on most of the boards we've seen enjoy four Intel DZ77GA-70K of bandwidth only when certain onboard x1 slots or PCIe peripherals are disabled. There are dual internal headers for front-panel USB 3.
Intel hasn't employed third-party USB controllers, instead opting to use a couple of hub chips from Via. The motherboard block Intel DZ77GA-70K indicates that two of the Z77's USB 3. Unfortunately, there's no indication of which ports are shared and which ones get a direct link to the platform hub. The rear port cluster doesn't provide any clues, but it does highlight the high-current USB 2. Max of Memory Channels The Intel DZ77GA-70K of memory channels refers to the bandwidth operation for real world application. Graphics Output Graphics Output defines the interfaces available to communicate with display devices. Peripheral Component Interconnect Express or PCIe is a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard for attaching hardware devices to a computer.
The different PCI Express versions support different data rates. PCIe x1 Gen 2.
Intel DZ77GA-70K PCIe x4 Gen 2. The first problems started cropping up in Windows Fiddling around with the power management settings did not fix the issue an often suggested fixand I gave up pretty quickly by downgrading to Windows 7. I did not get errors there anymore - great. The machine seemed pretty stable, but I ran memtest just for the heck of it. No matter how I switch them around, I get errors in the same approximate area of memory. I'm left to conclude there is something wrong with Intel DZ77GA-70K last memory slot.
